Some people distrust in others, saying that others' "hearts and minds do not agree."
That is because they conceitedly believe, "I'm not like that." Both others and ourselves are lowly beings whose "heart and mind do not agree."
When we come to realize this, for the first time, true unity is born. That person has a horrible illness.
The reason why you hate him and cannot get along with him is that you think you do not have a horrible illness.
When we come to know that we are the ones who are lowly, love for our fellow Buddhists and love for humanity will fill our hearts.
