A lack of sustained effort can be one of our problems.
Though we may begin by doing our best, if we don’t see re - sults right away, our resolve weakens and we give up, thinking,

But the results of effort and study tend to appear sud - denly at some point, rather than bit by bit over time.
There - fore it is important to work steadily, even if results don’t appear in the beginning.
When I was a child, I couldn’t even do a single flip around a horizontal bar, so I was always practicing on my own.
Then suddenly one day, I could do it. It was the same with riding a bike.
